Post Doctoral Position to Study Novel Hyperthermophilic Hydrogenases

The new DOE Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center (GLBRC) has an immediate opening for a postdoctoral research associate to study the enzymology of biohydrogen metabolism at high temperatures. Minimum qualifications: Ph.D. in Microbiology or related discipline. Priority will be given to candidates with previous experience in the culturing of anaerobic microorganisms, bacterial molecular techniques and protein purification. Experience in molecular tools applied to Environmental Microbiology would be considered a plus.
