Biofuel Transcriptional Profiling Position
The new DOE Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center (GLBRC) has an opening for postdoctoral research on xylan biosynthesis in plants. Research will utilize a systems biology approach to discover both enzymes and transcription factors controlling the biosynthesis of this important cell wall component.
The position will begin as soon as Dec. 2007. Practical knowledge of plant molecular biology and biochemistry is required, as is a Ph.D. in plant biology, or a related field. Applicants with experience in the analysis of microarray data as demonstrated by peer reviewed publications will be given preference.
