Microbial Ecology Post Doctoral Position
An opportunity is available for a post doctoral researcher to join a team of microbial ecologists exploring the relationships between the structure of microbial communities and the ecosystem level services they provide. Research will be focused on the stunning evolutionary diversity and metabolic versatility of microbial communities in soil, complemented by extensive datasets that include process level measurements and environmental characterization of the Kellogg Biological Station Long Term Ecological research site and sites being converted to yield crops from biofuels. Experience with modeling, ecological theory or contemporary microbiological approaches is particularly desirable.
