Improved Plant Biomass Postdoctoral Position

The new DOE Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center (GLBRC) has one opening for postdoctoral research on the genetic and biochemical characterization of Arabidopsis mutants that exhibit an altered cell wall structure. The position begins as soon as Dec. 2007 and are located in the Plant Research Laboratory at Michigan State University.

Practical knowledge of genetics in particular map-based cloning and biochemical techniques are required, as is a Ph.D. in genetics, biochemistry, or biology.
