These programs mainly address the needs of K-12 and undergraduate learning communities, and topically address bioenergy-related issues ranging from biotechnology to sustainability.

Research Experience for Teachers (RET)

Timing/Duration June 24 - August 9, 2013
Location University of Wisconsin-Madison and Michigan State University
Application Deadline Applications closed. Deadline: March 15, 2013.
Stipend $7,000
Who Should Apply K-16 educators interested in conducting bioenergy research, writing curriculum and incorporating bioenergy lessons into their classes.

Bioenergy Institute for Educators (BIE)

Timing/Duration June 24-29, 2013. Monday-Saturday.
Location University of Wisconsin-Madison
Application Deadline Applications closed. Deadline: March 31, 2013.
Stipend $500
Who Should Apply K-12 educators interested in incorporating  bioenergy lessons into their classes. Teams of 3-4 educators (teachers, curriculum coordinators, etc.) are encouraged.
