GLBRC Emerging Opportunities Program: Call for Pre-Proposals

In an effort to support innovative biofuel production research, the GLBRC is seeking pre-proposals for an Emerging Opportunities Program. Applicants seeking funding must submit a 1-page pre-proposal outlining the scope and objectives of the project by Friday, May 16,2008.

Climate Change and what Congress is Doing
to Confront the Challenge

U.S. Rep. Tammy Baldwin will talk her work on the House Energy and Commerce Committee on the “Energy Independence and Security Act.” Rep. Baldwin played a key role in crafting this legislation, which seeks to reduce dependence on foreign oil, lower energy costs, grow the economy, create new jobs, and begin to address global warming. Rep. Baldwin is a member of the Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Caucus, and the Climate Change Caucus.
